Political leader of the pro-choice movement seeks dynamic marketing professional to manage strategic outreach to a new generation of potential members and activists. This strategic networking manager will design and implement issue-based communication and targeted outreach events. Duties also include database management and web-based communications, volunteer and intern management. Opportunities for involvement in political, lobbying and election activities. Ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:
· Commitment to and enthusiasm for reproductive choice
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds, including volunteers, youth, and collaborative organizations
· Previous grassroots organizing, marketing, and/or public policy experience
· Proficiency in on-line organizing, website development, and database maintenance
· Demonstrated success at keeping multiple projects organized
Candidate must be willing to take on a wide range of tasks and to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends. Benefit package includes paid vacation leave, sick leave, and health insurance. Salary commensurate with experience, track record and skills.
